About Statler BI

At Statler BI, we believe that data is the key to successful hotel management. Our name pays tribute to Ellsworth Statler, the pioneer who revolutionised the hospitality industry through innovation and hospitality. That same drive is in our DNA. We help hotels – from independent boutique hotels to international chains such as Corendon, Zoku and Stayokay – to optimise their performance.

Our SaaS platform integrates data from PMS systems, time-tracking and financial software into clear, daily dashboards and monthly reports in accordance with the USALI standard. No more endless Excel spreadsheets, but real-time insights that enable managers to take immediate action.

Your Internship Assignment

As a Business Intelligence intern, you’ll become part of our close-knit team in Amstelveen. You won’t be given menial tasks, but a genuine, impactful assignment that directly contributes to our product development or customer insights. This might include:

Data Analysis & Visualisation: Developing new dashboard widgets or analysing trends in hotel data (e.g. occupancy rates, RevPAR, or staff productivity). 

Process Optimisation: Investigating how we can make data integrations with new hotel systems run even more smoothly.

Customer insight: Helping with case studies or translating complex data into understandable insights for our customers.

Innovation: Brainstorming new features, such as AI-driven forecasting or the automation of budgeting processes.

 

Who are you?

You are in your third or fourth year of a higher professional education (HBO) degree in a subject such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration or Hotel Management (with a strong affinity for data).

You are curious and solution-oriented.

You have an affinity for the hospitality sector or would like to specialise in this field.

You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.
